The 160 range of CAT motor graders, such as the 160H, 160M and 160K, aims to help construction projects achieve their grading work with greater efficiency and comfort. The 160 can be used for multiple motor grading projects such as road maintenance.

Productivity and performance
Innovative blade angles ensure the machine can work more efficiently, as a larger throat clearance allows materials to move more easily along the blades. Cooling requirements are automatically met as a hydraulic fan keeps the engine at an optimum temperature, ensuring the machine never burns out or overheats. After a designated period of time, the CAT 160 will automatically activate an engine idle shutdown, to improve fuel efficiency. 

Operation
Operators will find they have greater control over the machine as the PPPC (proportional priority pressure compensating) delivers effective control due to its load-sending hydraulics. Automatic shift transitions further improve the operation of the machine as the transmission is moved when most beneficial. 

Maintenance
All CAT machinery is complete with a robust body that can withstand adverse weather conditions and frequent use. The CAT 160 is complete with durable nylon composite inserts that prolong their component life. The brass slide rail moldboard can easily be replaced or adjusted as necessary.
